Are you tired of playing the same old, same old games?
Cards Against Humanity is pretty fun, but it's not very family-friendly. Monopoly isn't a real strategy game, and the endgame is usually painful. Scrabble takes way too long. Chess is pretty hard, and only two can play.
Wise Up! is an all-new classic card game.
Wise Up!. like all of our games, is an all-new classic – real-world fun that's not only unfair, frustrating, and physical, but also educational, jam-packed with exciting and original trivia. It's also ruthless – you'll know who's cutthroat and smart right away. Guaranteed to liven-up any family get-together or holiday party, it comes in a handy travel tin that you can take anywhere.
Easy to learn.
It's easy to Wise Up! Players take a card, in turn, and ask the Question, or read the Challenge to the player to his/her left. If that player answers correctly, or successfully completes the Challenge, they keep the card. If not, the player to his/her left tries to answer it or meet the challenge. Play continues clockwise.
For a Group Challenge, the best player, as judged by the card captain (the one presenting the challenge), gets the card. The player with the most cards at the end wins.
Wicked Entertaining. And Educational, too.
There are 150 thought-provoking Questions, like: What was Sleeping Beauty's actual name? What is the circumference of a golf ball? Name a mammal that lays eggs. Where is the zygomatic arch? What are the eight Ivy League schools?Wait a sec!
Wise Up! also has 50 devilish Challenges, such as: Throw this card on the floor and pick it up without using your hands. Or how about: Switch shirts with the person to your left. Anyone for a "Thumb War?" You've already heard Jonathan's verdict on the "Knuckles" card.
We recommend 3-5 players, and even though everything is Rated G, it's probably best for ages 12 and older since some of the Questions and Challenges are intentionally cheeky, difficult and not necessarily for the faint of heart, or head.
There is no time limit. We usually say first person to get 5 cards wins. Or 10, depending on how long you want to play.
Don't stay (or leave) home without it.
In this age of Covid, Wise Up! is a great cabin fever cure-all for friends and family of all ages.
